How to get to Rice Lake in Stearns County, Minnesota?

1. Take I-94 West from Minneapolis toward St. Cloud. Exit at State Hwy 23. At the exit ramp stop sign, turn left toward Paynesville. Continue west about 25 miles passing Cold Spring and Richmond. Continuing past Richmond about two miles. (See this map.) To travel to the east side of Rice Lake, take County Road 43 south and use this map. To travel to the west side of Rice Lake, do not turn on to CR 43, but continue on State Hwy 23 toward Paynesville to 263rd Ave. Turn left and go south on 263rd Ave. and use this map.
2. Or,...Take State Hwy 55 west from Minneapolis toward Eden Valley and Paynesville. Use this map after passing through Eden Valley.
